The Eyes

My kids have completely different eyes in regards to color and shape, but I love it when their eyes tell the same happy story (even if the story is about kale chips for snack)!

Our house

Is our life normal?  Our house seems so crazy at times and we only have two kids.  It seems that I can't turn my back for a second or something like this (or worse) happens

She managed to pull out one of the dog dishes and replaced it with herself. 

Even better - I was at work this evening and my family pulled off the cushions to the couch and love seat.  Baron loves to do this so he was excited.  It is my understanding that Harper was really excited about the old Cocoa Puffs she found in the couch! 
In the words of Dr. Seuss "...that's the kind of house I live in and I hope we never leave it."

Our little baby...

has really grown.  Baron still likes to give her a bottle once in a while.  It is starting to look ridiculous because they are close to the same size.  I will be interested to see how close in size they actually are when we go to their 3 year and 18 month appointments this month. 

Santa's Gift

Santa delivered a small table and chair set to the kids this year.  It is working just the way I hoped it would (I dicussed this with Santa).  We play games at the table, do art projects and most importantly - we eat our snacks at the table. 

 Another picture from today.  This little girl wants to live outside.  To the point where she is pushing over our 110 pound Golden Retriever so she can get outside.  Rain or shine.  Hot or cold.  She prefers fresh air. 

Happy New Year!

A new year. A fresh start. I have obviously been behind on the blog. I need a fresh start so today is the day. Moving forward the posts will be current. I will continue to catch up and add the post dated blog posts, but readers will need to scroll down (or look at the months of October, November and December on the right hand side) to see them.

That being said - I didn't take any pictures today so I will leave you with a favorite Christmas memory. I believe this picture is worthy of an award!
