Weekend of fun, family and friends!

The last 72 hours are a whirlwind and I am exhausted, but it was all worth it! Grandma and Grandpa Weber came to visit and boy did I need them! I was trying to get everything together for a baby shower I was throwing and Baron did not want me to leave his sight or reach. Finally he settled down and allowed me to get things down while he read a book with Grandma. However, it was too cute so I had to stop to what I was doing to take a picture.

Here are a couple of pictures from the Baby Shower for my best friend Heather. She is having a girl, but I bet you can't tell from the amount of pink in my house ;) It was so much fun to throw a party for such a wonderul person.
After the shower Baron, Nate and Granpa came back to the house. A few of the girls were still at the house and Baron decided to show off. He crawled all over our hardwood floor, turned in multiple circles, batted his eyelashes and smiled for a solid 15 minutes. He knew he had everyone's attention and he ate it up! Shortly after everyone left he was after me again. I couldn't even hide behind the camera.
Did you catch a glimpse of green and yellow in the last picture? If you missed it - here it is again. Grandpa and Grandma stopped to see a family member at John Deere and found the toy department. They brought Baron the cutest little tractor that is motion activated and moves forward and backward. Baron likes to crawl after it, but as soon as he gets close it seems to detect him and take off again. It is funny to watch the wheels turning in Baron's head as he tries to figure out how to get it. This is a new favorite toy! In fact - I think he liked it so much that he couldn't go to sleep Saturday night. He stayed up until 9:30 which is 2 hours past his bedtime!
Sadly, Grandma and Grandpa had to go home today. We still had lots to do. It was the last day of a good sale on carseats so we took advantage of it. We also had to move the crib mattress down a level because Baron is trying to pull himself up on everything. It seems like he is growing so quickly. Next week he'll probably start applying for colleges ;)

Baron is the sweetest and happiest baby. It was good to see him again because it had been a while.

Such a beautiful smile he has. Hey Uncle Dick or Grandpa gave our boys the moving tractor and that's how they learned to crawl so fast keeping up with it!!! Aunt Pam
